It
was a feat for Al Noor Hospital converging high profile
personalities such as Ambassadors, HAAD Officials,
Representatives from Government and Private Hospitals and Medical Practitioners from
all corners in the world for one goal to talk about psychiatry
in general practice at the recent 3rd ICAN. Delegates
from Syria, Greece, U.S., UK, Australia, Tunisia, India, Saudi A., Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman,
Egypt and Lebanon had a very educational sessions and workshops
heard from the international speakers invited to grace the said
event. There were 25 speakers and 350 delegates showed up with
18.5 hrs. to be accredited for CME. It was no less than his
Royal Highness Sheikh Mubarak Al Nahyan who did the ceremonial
cutting of the ribbon during the opening day witnessed by
everyone present. All the multi national pharmaceutical
companies who sponsored and help made this conference possible
were very visible in their respective booths in the exhibition
area. The media coverage both in print and broadcast media had
an extensive exposure and was published in more than 5 leading
newspapers. There was a workshop and Q&A segment were delegates
freely asked for answers to queries pertinent to each topics
being talked about. The event concluded with a gala party and
awarding ceremony for the speakers and organizers who made it a
tremendous success |
