One JCIA Accreditation , Another Recognition |

Inspired
by the directions of Sheikh Khalifa, president of UAE and Sheikh
Mohamed bin Zayed, Crown Prince toward excellence in health care
provided to the citizens of this country, and based on the
Health Authority of Abu Dhabi(HA-AD) strategies and regulations
made to ensure the improvement in the quality of health care
facilities in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi,
we are proud to announce today that Al Noor Hospital, Al Ain,
has become the 5th hospital in the Abu Dhabi Emirate , with
third in Alain and the 14t in all UAE to achieve accreditation
from Joint Commission International (JCI), USA. JCI is the gold
standard in global healthcare standards. With this, Al Noor
Hospital Al Ain joins an exclusive group of more than 140
hospitals worldwide, which have passed JCIA quality standards.
JCI is the international arm of the Joint Commission on
Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations, which evaluates
quality standards of U.S. hospitals.
Mrs. Ann Jacobson, the director of JCIA in Chicago said in her
letter to us “hospital accreditation standards are intended to
stimulate continuous systematic and organization wide
improvement in daily performance and in outcomes of patient care
.The citizens of united Arab Emirates should be proud that Al
Noor Hospital Al Ain is focusing on this most challenging goal
to continuously raise standards to higher levels.
Actually, Al Noor Corporate hospitals have worked and promoted
these standards of care since 1985 and its beginning. Dr. Kassem
stated that “Al Noor has always pursued what is best for the
patient. We have been able to attract world class doctors who
share this vision, helping us set up new benchmarks in the
quality of patient care.
In a clebration held Tuesday, 1 July, Dr. Kassem Alom was
presented with the certificate of accreditation by Mr. Derick
Pasternak, Director of the JCI Middle East Office.
