A Rare Surgery at Al-Noor Hospital |
Successfully,
it was conducted a rare surgery at al Noor hospital in Abu Dhabi
for a sick American woman, aged 40 years, during which the
removal of 23 tumours from the uterus where the diameter of one
tumour ranged between 2 to 10 centimetres, and is one of the
rare instances in terms of the number of tumours and
preservation of the uterus without eradication where the Doctors
succeeded at the removal of tumours and keeping the uterus of
the patient woman. Dr. Imad Abboud Al Barakat, the gynaecologist
and maternity consultant at al-Noor hospital who conducted the
surgery said that the patient reviewed the hospital while she
was suffering from bleeding uterus and severe swelling in the
abdomen and seemed to be pregnant in the eighth month
