Al Noor Hospital started off as a
polyclinic in 1985, and soon evolved into a state of the art
hospital, employing experienced healthcare professionals and the
latest facilities. It has since achieved remarkable progress in
the healthcare industry.
Al Noor moved from its hospital site in Hamdan Street to new
premises in Khalifa Street - Al Noor Khalifa Branch, in 2001. In
2006, Al Noor opened its doors to Al Noor Hospital in Al Ain. Al
Noor then inaugurated its state of the art, purpose-built
hospital in Airport Road in 2007. Al Noor has recently expanded
to Abu dhabi’s Western region, opening specialised clinics in
Madinat Zayed, Mirfa and Mussafah, offering medical services as
well as emergency referrals to its Abu Dhabi branches. Al Noor
has in-patient and out-patient pharmacies in each of its clinics
and hospitals, in addition to 4 more outpatient pharmacies in
Abu Dhabi.
All three hospitals are JCI accredited and ISO accredited. In
2009, Al Noor was awarded the Gold Sheikh Khalifa Excellence
Award for its contribution to healthcare. The hospital is also
part of the European Foundation for Quality Management.
Al Noor has achieved phenomenal success in path-breaking
procedures and has placed itself among the top healthcare
institutions in the country. Going beyond healthcare to promote
healthy living, Al Noor takes a profound interest in creating
awareness about health issues concerning this community in the
region, including diabetes and obesity.
